Questions customers ask
Direct answers before you call.
Can you reinstall solar panels that were already removed for reroofing?
We can assess an existing removal-and-reinstallation project in Los Angeles County or Orange County. Start with the property location, module count, equipment labels, roof photos and an inventory of the stored parts. A site assessment confirms the roof condition, missing components and written installation scope before scheduling.
What if the rails, roof attachments or conduit are missing?
We inventory the available modules, racking, attachments, flashing, wiring and accessible electrical equipment. Missing or unsuitable components are identified separately in the proposal. A photo of stacked panels alone cannot establish a complete materials list or confirm that the original mounting parts can be reused.
Can an older SolarCity or Tesla-managed system be reinstalled?
Send the module and inverter make and model, any original plans, and the removal documentation. We review the actual installed equipment and the approved project requirements before proposing reuse or replacement. A company name on an old contract does not by itself identify the inverter or establish equipment compatibility.
What does the reinstallation proposal cover?
The written scope identifies labor, required replacement materials, roofing coordination, electrical reconnection, testing and commissioning responsibilities. Permit and inspection requirements, access, roof readiness and any additional repairs are reviewed for the specific property before work proceeds.
